This visually kinetic design is the creation of Sever Design Group Architects.
The indoors and outdors mesh seemlessly as you move from room to room.
The window design incorporates many of the prairie elements with a system of
mullions and glass creating an architectural emphasis on design and views.
This home has been certified as a "Green Building" by the City of Scottsdale.
The entry is highlighted by a wall of rusted steel, slate and a 19' glass wall system.
As you step into the Great Room you become visually captivated by the pool and
patio area as seen through a 48' long glass wall. Thirty-two feet of integrated
sliding windows bring the outdoors in.
An architectural floating stairway makes
a dramatic statement as you ascend to the master suite or you can ride to the
master in the elevator of frosted glass. The interior is a blending of unique spaces
and materials.
Behind the gabion retaining walls which are made of natural
rock in a rusted metal enclosure are several patios, gardens, meditation and play areas.
The pool and patio areas have open views through a rusted steel fence system. From all
vantage points the mountains, golf course or city lights are visible as you walk the
extensive patios and slate covered decks.
